Librams

Librams are books that can be found during your adventures across Azeroth. They are a component in a quest that gives you an arcanum that allows you to apply an enchant to a head or leg item. You can use an arcanum on your own items or on someone else's in the same fashion you would use an enchant. Some librams are world drops and some are specific to a given area, e.g. Dire Maul. You may be lucky enough to find them on the auction house as well (although some librams, e.g. Libram of Resilience and the Dire Maul librams go for a considerable amount of coin).

World Drop Librams

These librams are world drops from random 50-ish mobs. (For example, I have personally seen two drop from the Deadwood furbolgs at Felpaw Village in northern Felwood.) These are turned in to Mathredis Firestar, the elf at Flame Crest in Burning Steppes. You will have to present the libram to him before he gives you the quest. All librams you turn in to Mathredis Firestar require that you pay him 30g in coin as well as the following materials:

Dire Maul Librams

There are three librams that can be found in Dire Maul. There is a libram for each wing which may drop off any of the mobs. These librams are turned in to Lorekeeper Lydros in the Dire Maul library. Rumor has it that you have to do the Elven Legends quest before you can get the libram quests from the Lorekeeper.

The arcanums you receive from these quests are used in the Zul'Gurub enchants you can get from Zanza the Restless.

So Where Do I Find This Stuff?

Black Blood of the Tormented	This may be acquired during a coffer run in Blackrock Depths. You must bring the appropriate number of Relic Coffer keys to open all of the coffers. Then you must find the Dark Keeper and kill him for his key. This key will unlock the final vault which may contain Black Blood of the Tormented.
Black Diamond	This is a rare find when mining Dark Iron Ore deposits. This also allegedly drops often from mobs in Blackrock Depths.
Blood of Heroes	This is a random ground spawn found in Eastern and Western Plaguelands. After you take the blood, at least one 60 elite Fallen Hero is spawned and is not likely to be happy with you.
Burning Essence	This also may be found in the Blackrock Depths coffers.
Crystal Force	This is produced by the eastern pylon on Un'Goro Crater. Collect 10 Blue Power Crystals and 10 Green Power Crystals and use the pylon. This may require completing the Making Sense of It quest.
Crystal Spire	This is produced by the eastern pylon on Un'Goro Crater. Collect 10 Blue Power Crystals and 10 Yellow Power Crystals and use the pylon. This may require completing the Making Sense of It quest.
Crystal Ward	This is produced by the western pylon in Un'Goro Crater. Collect 10 Green Power Crystals and 10 Red Power Crystals and use the pylon. This may require completing the Making Sense of It quest.
Eye of Kajal	This also may be found in the Blackrock Depths coffers.
Frayed Abomination Stitching	This drops from abominations in Stratholme. A Baron run will usually produce at least one. Since the Libram of Protection only requires one, others in the run may be willing to defer the first one to you.
Gizzard Gum	Seek out Bloodmage Drazial in Blasted Lands and he will give you a quest, either Vulture's Vigor or Spiritual Domination. Collect the required items and turn those into him for Gizzard Gum.
Large Brilliant Shard	This is made by enchanters from disenchanting level 50+ blues. A couple instance runs with well-geared characters should result in items no one wants/needs that can be turned into shards.
Lung Juice Cocktail	Seek out Bloodmage Drazial in Blasted Lands and he will give you a quest, either A Boar's Vitality or Spirit of the Boar. Collect the required items and turn those into him for a Lung Juice Cocktail.
Night Dragon's Breath	Night Dragons are plants found in a few places in Felwood, usually corrupted by the taint of Felwood and in need of purification. If you are lucky, you will find one that has already been purified. If not, you will need to use Cenarion Salve on the corrupted plant before you can collect Night Dragon's Breath from it.
Pristine Black Diamond	This drops off high-level mobs in instances, e.g. those in Blackrock Spire and Zul'Gurub.
Skin of Shadow	This is a ground drop within Scholomance in the room with Lady Barov. This may not be lootable until she has been disposed of.
Whipper Root Tuber	Like Night Dragons above, Whipper Roots are plants in Felwood that are usually corrupted. You will need Cenarion Salve to purify corrupted plants.
