Reequiping

The game uses the following predefined order when reequiping your body (obviously, this is not an issue in hardcore):

Body Location
None
Head
Neck
Torso
Right Arm
Left Arm
Right Ring
Left Ring
Belt
Feet
Gloves

Weapon Swapping Bug

When swapping weapons, one must be sure to have enough strength and dexterity to succesfully requip the swapped weapon. If one has a weapon socketed with a Hel, the game does not correctly calculate the required stats.

In order to succesfully switch a Hel'ed Weapon, 1 of 2 conditions must be met:
1: Your natural stats (Excluding weapon +Stats) must meet the requirements of the Hel'ed Weapon.
2: Your combined stats (Including weapon +Stats) must meet the base requirements of the Weapon.

The magical mods (of Ease, of Simplicity) are not affected by this bug according to my tests. --GaiaCaT

Socketing

Here is proto's guide. Useful for seeing the max number of sockets in any item.

There are socket recipes using the cube.

Basic socketing information.

Larzuk will always give the maximum amount of sockets in an item based on its ilvl.

The socket recipe will give a random number of sockets baed on its ilvl. If the item can get up to six sockets, then it has a 1/6 chance for any number of sockets. If an item can get up to three sockets, then you have a 1/6 change for each of one and two sockets and a 4/6 (2/3) chance for three sockets.
When socketing an ethereal armor using the socket recipe, the you get an additon 50% of defense on top of the original.
